Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain balanced registers.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and promoting a safe environment.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar stations during shifts, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights, special events, or banquets, utilizing strong time management skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using effective time management strategies during high-volume shifts.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
- Experience in catering or food industry roles is advantageous; retail math knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or hospitality industry standards is beneficial; previous nightclub or banquet experience is desirable.
