Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar operations, including food and beverage preparation, serving, and customer interactions
- Lead, train, and develop staff to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide ongoing staff training and feedback
- Maintain a lively atmosphere by managing customer flow, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with supervising responsibilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining environments
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cash handling is essential
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training & development, and interviewing candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food industry regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully
- Previous experience in managing shift operations within a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting is preferred
