Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our resort. This role supports our team, ensures the safety and well-being of all pets in our care, and provides an exceptional experience for both guests and their owners.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Resort Operations Manager with day-to-day operations across all departments
- Create, manage, and adjust staff schedules to ensure proper coverage
- Provide training, mentoring, and coaching for supervisors and team members
- Step in to assist on the floor or at the front desk as needed
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and pet care
- Assist with customer relations, including handling complaints and conducting tours
- Monitor payroll, scheduling, and supply needs within budget guidelines
- Participate in staff hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and performance management
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for working with dogs and cats in a caring, professional manner
- 3 years of supervisory or operational experience; animal care experience preferred
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible schedule — must be available for weekends, holidays, evenings, and emergencies
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
