An established industrial equipment manufacturer is looking to recruit a hands-on Inside Sales and Inventory Coordinator, to join its growing operation in Spring, Texas.
Job Purpose
The Inside Sales & Inventory Coordinator drives revenue growth and ensures operational efficiency for our cleaning chemical business. This dual-purpose role requires managing the full sales cycle for chemical products while directly controlling and auditing product inventory at a remote warehouse facility.
Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales & Client Management
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding chemical products and applications.
- Generate accurate technical pricing quotes and detailed product data sheets.
- Follow up diligently on quotes to secure business and close sales.
- Process incoming purchase orders and track them through production to delivery.
- Maintain clean client records and tracking data in the company CRM.
- Build long-term relationships with B2B clients, industrial accounts, and distributors.
Remote Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Monitor, manage, and control stock levels housed at the remote warehouse.
- Coordinate stock transfers between the main production site and the remote facility.
- Audit remote warehouse data regularly to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Place stock replenishment requests to prevent product shortages or stockouts.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
- Enforce strict shelf-life monitoring for chemical batches.
Candidate Requirements:
Knowledge:
- Inventory management software / ERP systems
- โข Standard B2B sales cycles and techniques
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of chemical safety (OSHA/HAZMAT)
- Understanding of local Houston industrial sectors
Experience:
- 2โ4 years in inside sales or account management
- Proven experience tracking warehouse inventory
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in chemical manufacturing or distribution
- Managing remote stock or 3PL facilities
Skills:
- Exceptional phone, email, and interpersonal communication
- Strong mathematical accuracy for stock calculations
- Highly organized with precise attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to problem-solve logistics/shipping delays
