The role
The Construction Manager owns the day-to-day construction operations for residential home builds across their assigned territory in the Charlotte market. You'll manage every phase from foundation through Certificate of Occupancy — keeping schedules tight, quality high, and buyers informed from start to close.
What you'll do
- Manage all phases of residential construction from foundation through Certificate of Occupancy (CO)
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries to maintain build schedules
- Conduct quality control inspections at every stage of construction
- Ensure homes pass third-party quality inspections (Precision Inspection or equivalent) with strong scores
- Conduct New Homeowner Orientations (NHO) with buyers prior to closing
- Maintain accurate records of project activity, schedules, and reporting in BuildPro
- Communicate proactively with your Area Construction Manager on schedule, quality, or trade issues
- Uphold RCH standards for safety, workmanship, and customer experience on every build
