Responsibilities
- Source and identify qualified candidates for federal/government positions using job boards, social media platforms, internal databases, and professional networks
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach to assess basic qualifications, clearance status, and availability
- Format and tailor resume according to federal, government, and client-specific submission standards
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and updates
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates to maintain engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Support recruiters and hiring managers in preparing candidate submission packages and documentation
- Build and maintain professional relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Stay informed about federal hiring regulations, clearance requirements, and industry best practices
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, recruiting coordination, or HR support, preferably supporting federal or government clients
- Basic understanding of federal hiring processes, clearance types, and compliance requirements
- Experience sourcing candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, or other recruiting tools
- Strong resume formatting and documentation skills aligned with government submission standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Prior experience supporting federal or government contracting recruitment
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or similar tools
- Understanding of security clearance terminology (e.g., Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret)
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Interest in building a long-term career in talent acquisition or government staffing
