Warehouse Worker (3rd Shift)
We are looking for Picker/Packer Person to add to our team!
Who We Are:
We are a family owned and operated wholesale produce company located in Highland, NY. With over 30 years in business, we provide the finest restaurants, schools, businesses and institutions in the Hudson Valley with fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, meats, and other sundries. We source as often as possible from local farms and work hard to contribute to the health, wealth and sustainability of the Hudson Valley Region.
Who We Are Looking For:
A skilled warehouse worker with quality control experience! This person must be reliable and a team player!
Position Details, Qualifications and Skills:
· Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, and Electrical Pallet Jacks).
· Reports any mechanical problems.
· Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
· Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
· Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50lbs during the assigned shift.
· Ability to work designated shift as required.
· Proper footwear is a must. (Non-Slip Work Boots with firm toe recommended).
· Warm clothing recommended, will experience low temperatures.
· Must have your own means of transportation.
· Scanning and sorting outgoing stock
· Pulling, packing, and loading
· Receiving, stocking, and stacking
· Quality Control
· Reviewing vendor product for accuracy
· Assisting in truck loading procedure
Education, Experience:
- High School or Equivalent
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
The schedule and hours for the positon are:
Monday – Sunday (Every Saturday Night Off)
12:00am to Completion
