Housekeeping

Job Overview:

We are currently hiring a Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves cleaning guest rooms and other assigned areas thoroughly and efficiently to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a focus on hospitality.

Duties:

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Clean kitchen areas as needed, including mini-fridge, coffee maker, cups, glasses, and silverware.
• Notify the supervisor when rooms are ready to be sold or occupied. Report any rooms that cannot be serviced according to established procedures.
• Report any needed repairs or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Respond to guest complaints or special requests and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Maintain a neat and organized linen cart and keep supplies stocked according to department standards.
• Ensure security of all equipment, keys, and supplies issued during your shift.

Qualifications:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Friendly and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Good organizational and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
