Our Boston Team is responsible for creating the best possible customer service experience by providing delicious and tempting bakery delights freshly made at the stall or brought in from our authentic family farm in Phillipston, MA. This team is filled with members that enjoy talking with customers and love working collaborativelyas a team to support each other. This position will best fit someone who is comfortable sharing information about the farm, upcoming events, and promoting our loyalty program and products for sale, greeting customers, provide samples, complete sales transactions using the POS system, restock inventory following the FIFO system, and maintain a clean and friendly space for customers to experience. We provide cross training for those interested in also baking our delicious hot apple cider donuts or other varieties of baked items and we love creativity!! Bring your thoughts with you for bakery delights!

Retail and Production Shifts

We are looking for Full Time (5 shifts a week) and Part Time (3-4 shifts a week) and Seasonal team members to assist with the running of the stall, baking, serving hard cider, and providing a memorable customer experience to our visitors to ensure they keep coming back and tell their friends! We have a wonderful location near the North End and Faneuil Hall and provide a great tourist destination. We are trying to recruit team members that are fun, outgoing, and ready to welcome new and old visitors to our stall at the Boston Public Market. Red Apple Farm Market does operate with a flexible scheduling policy. All team members are expected to share availability two weeks in advance of posted shift schedules. Fixed schedules are negotiable but not guaranteed.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in food retail or production required
• ServSafe Handler certification preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work as a team, in a fast paced environment, and detail oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Clover, WhenIWork

Hourly Positions: Range of pay $17-20 per hour depending on experience

Bullock Lodge & The Core (Princeton, MA) - The seasonal locations at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area offering warm treats, fudge, and cider mountain side.

Red Apple Farm Market (Boston, MA) - The retail shop and cider bar at Boston Public Market operates seven days a week, serving the farm’s hard cider, sweet cider drinks, fudge, hot cider donuts and other assorted baked treats freshly baked on site at our Boston location!

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
