About Us
Recycling Mechanical of New England is a growing equipment company specializing in trash compactors, balers, and related hydraulic equipment. We sell and service equipment across the region and are expanding our parts operation.
The Role
We're looking for a motivated, organized Parts Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role with a lot of variety — no two days are exactly the same. We want to grow our online presence and need someone that is willing to help build a parts website. Please feel free to reach out for more details!
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining our parts website, including listings, pricing, and product information
- Processing and shipping parts orders accurately and on time
- Coordinating with freight brokers for larger shipments
- Ordering parts from vendors and managing supplier relationships
- Receiving, organizing, and inventorying parts stock
- Communicating with customers by phone and email to answer questions, provide quotes, and follow up on orders
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and grow the parts department
- Helping to implement and design a new website for parts
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks at once
- Experience with shipping platforms, inventory systems, or e-commerce is a plus
- Good communicator — friendly, professional, and responsive
- Mechanically inclined or familiar with industrial equipment parts
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn
- Able to lift 50lbs and stay on your feet all day
