Civil Engineer Renewable Energy Project Manager
Location: Phoenix or Mesa
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $150,000 per year (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer Project Manager to lead land development and renewable energy-related projects. This role is responsible for managing design teams, overseeing project execution, ensuring technical quality, and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead land development and site development projects, including renewable energy initiatives
- Direct and coordinate internal design teams and subconsultants
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and support contract negotiations
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Ensure QA/QC and technical accuracy across all project deliverables
- Maintain and grow client relationships
- Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering staff
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and project execution
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8 years of land development experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (via Arizona State Board of Technical Registration)
- Ability to obtain multi-state licensure
- Proven experience in project management and client coordination
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or related infrastructure)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Strong background in residential and site development projects
