Youll ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and safetywhile also mentoring staff, fostering teamwork, and building a culture of trust and accountability. What Youll Do
As a key clinical leader, you will provide supervisory oversight to nursing and support staff during your shift. Youll monitor clinical operations to ensure quality care and adherence to policies, while also assessing staffing needs and adjusting as necessary to maintain safe ratios. Youll guide the team in patient care decision-making, step in to support during changes in condition, and assist with level-of-care evaluations and insurance pre-authorizations. Youll also coach, train, and counsel staff to strengthen performance, all while promoting a culture of patient safety, continuous improvement, and engagement.
What Were Looking For
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (required); bachelors degree in nursing (preferred)
- Experience:
- At least two (2) years of current nursing experience (required)
- Psychiatric nursing and progressive leadership experience (preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted nursing license in state of employment or compact license (required)
