Client Care Assistant

Were looking for a Client Care Assistant (CCA) to support day-to-day care, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Working under the supervision of licensed nurses and nursing leadership, youll help create a safe, supportive environment while providing dignity, structure, and stability through hands-on care and activities.

What Youll Do

• Conduct ongoing assessments of individual needs, ensuring stabilization and crisis intervention when necessary.
• Support individuals with structured daily activities that promote well-being, independence, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and promptly report changes in status to the licensed nurse.
• Assist with unlicensed nursing tasks as assigned under supervision.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and the treatment team regarding care and progress.
• Promote a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all individuals served.
• Demonstrate flexibility in schedule, physical ability to perform care duties, and adaptability to varying environments.

What Were Looking For

Education & Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Graduate of a nursing assistant or medical assistant school, or certification as a CNA/CMA (preferred)

Experience

• One (1) year of relevant healthcare or mental health experience (preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

• CNA, CMA, or other healthcare certification (preferred)
