Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Equipment)
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy construction equipment, including CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, and Mack trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot diesel and gas engines, pumps, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize computer diagnostics and fleet management software.
- Perform welding and A/C repair as needed.
- Maintain organized service records and a clean work environment.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
- 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience working on:
- CAT
- John Deere
- Komatsu
- Mack trucks
- Computer diagnostics and fleet management experience.
- Welding experience preferred.
- A/C repair experience preferred.
Licenses
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- CDL (Preferred)
