About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Audit Senior or Audit Manager who has the following qualifications and qualities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3 years of audit or public accounting experience.
Required Skills
- CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure
- Takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate work and has strong attention to detail.
- Values both professional success and life outside of work and knows how to manage responsibilities effectively.
- Has a desire to continue learning, growing, and taking on greater responsibility within the firm.
- Works well as part of an audit team while also being self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Communicates well with clients and coworkers and is comfortable developing strong client relationships.
Preferred Skill
- Experience with construction accounting is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform audit and review engagements.
- Supervise and review the work of staff on engagements.
- Communicate directly with clients and help resolve accounting and audit issues.
- Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures.
- Manage engagement deadlines and budgets.
- Assist with training and development of less-experienced team members.
- Work closely with partners and other members of the assurance team.
Work Schedule
- It is remote role with the option to work in an office.
- However, we are looking mostly for employees that live in Utah.
- Most travel is to our client’s office which are pretty much in state.
