Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain CNC programs for multi-axis Mills, Lathes, and VTLs using Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.
- Improve machining processes and tool paths to reduce cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances.
- Design fixtures and select proper cutting tools for complex parts and exotic materials.
- Work closely with machinists on the shop floor to test and improve new programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation to meet aerospace and defense quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in CNC Programming, preferably with Mastercam.
- Good understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Experience working with tight tolerances and materials like Titanium, Inconel, and Stainless Steel is preferred.
- Strong machining math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
- Hands-on problem solver who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
