🏢 Staff Accountant
Our client, a well-established publicly traded real estate investment company, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with 2 years of corporate accounting experience who is looking to advance their career with an organization known for its strong culture, outstanding leadership, and comprehensive benefits package.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations
• Manage corporate cash activity, bank reconciliations, and cashbook maintenance
• Support debt accounting, wire transfers, and interest payment reconciliations
• Assist with payroll-related activities and audit support
• Prepare accounting entries related to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and debt transactions
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Property Accounting, and Management teams
🔹 Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Yardi and online banking experience are a plus
