Internship Overview
The Lafayette 148’s internship program provides rising juniors, seniors and recently-graduated college students the opportunity to gain valuable experience working at a luxury fashion brand. During the program, interns will gain meaningful exposure to the business through hands-on learning, team projects, mentorship and exposure to executive leaders. Lafayette 148 is committed to providing in-depth learning opportunities for our interns so that they gain usable, real-life experience in their area of focus. All Lafayette 148 internships are 100% in-person.
The Accounting intern will assist the Accounting teams with planning and analysis responsibilities for the Lafayette 148 global businesses segments and functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Assist in responding to customer and vendor inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of questions related to invoices, payments, and account transactions.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Support accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records.
- Help with month-end closing activities.
- Organize and file accounting documents and supporting records.
- Perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.

Base Pay Range
- The base pay range for this position in New York City is $18.00 per hour; base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
