What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator- Commercial Construction position at Recruiter Management Services?
We are seeking an Administrator for our Commercial Projects group. You will drive positive results for various projects/teams with planning, scheduling, organizational, budgeting, and implementation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Handles administrative responsibilities on all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
- Works closely with teams to ensure resources for assigned projects and within contract requirements
- Coordinates onsite personnel and sub-contractors as well as internal stakeholders to include travel and logistics
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, engineers, government officials, and legal support
- Negotiate as needed to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of work
- Reporting, follow-up, and analysis
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the administrative side of construction project management or related fields, minimum three years
- Knowledge and experience with construction management software
- Accounting and understanding of finance as it relates to contracts, change orders, invoicing, etc.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented; highly organized
- Proactive
- Ability to work independently and be results-oriented.
- Minimum five years of advanced MS Office skills, including Excel.
ABLE TO WORK as needed to meet deadlines; mostly Monday - Friday flexible to reconcile hours worked by project on weekends or early Monday mornings.
