We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer with a strong foundation in electronics engineering, software development, and hands-on experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE). This role focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for next-generation, high-performance semiconductor devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new test methodologies and solutions for complex semiconductor devices
- Convert, debug, and support test programs, including hardware interface development
- Optimize test programs to improve fault coverage and reduce overall test time
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering and production issues related to test processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with application development teams, field engineers, and project stakeholders
- Work directly with customers to ensure solutions meet technical and production requirements
- Maintain thorough technical documentation and project records
- Travel up to 20% to support customer sites and project implementation as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IC test development or application engineering
- Strong experience working with semiconductor ATE platforms
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Hands-on experience using electronic bench instrumentation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
