Account Manager – Factory and Process Automation
Boston, MA | Full-Time, Salary Exempt | $120,000–$140,000

About the Role
We're looking for a driven Account Manager to grow our clients Factory and Process Automation business in the Boston region. You'll manage and expand existing accounts, develop new business, and bring cutting-edge automation solutions to a wide range of industries. Responsibilities
- Grow existing accounts and develop new business within the assigned territory
- Conduct sales calls and technical presentations at target accounts
- Define application and product requirements in close collaboration with customers
- Provide customer support: pricing, quotes, delivery coordination, and technical assistance
- Coordinate order expediting with purchasing and manufacturing teams
- Deliver product training and updates to customers
- Maintain CRM records and manage territory using a four-week planning calendar
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical sales experience
- 5 years selling complex technical solutions; industrial sales strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
- Willingness to travel ~50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years in industrial automation sales
- Experience in one or more of the following markets: OEM, Automotive, Material Handling, Autonomous Vehicles, IIoT/Industry 4.0, Packaging, Mobile Equipment, Semiconductor/Electronics
