We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join the Data & Analytics team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in automation, and a solid understanding of data analytics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate BI semantic model testing to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Go beyond report creation—develop a deep understanding of how reports are generated and validated.
- Investigate data mismatches and identify root causes.
- Analyze test failures, document findings, and create comprehensive bug reports.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and update test cases as requirements evolve.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and queries.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and semantic models.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and UI testing.
- Strong automation skills for testing workflows and processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Selenium or other web automation tools.
- Familiarity with Pytest framework.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- General knowledge of QA methodologies and testing best practices.
Work Environment
- Candidate must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in Houston, TX.
