We are seeking a clinically strong, accountable, and growth-oriented therapist to join our substance use disorder program.
This role is fully in-person and best suited for a clinician who is confident in their clinical judgment, comfortable working in a structured program, and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
This is not a passive therapy role. Our clinicians are expected to be engaged, thoughtful, and clinically responsible in both their direct work and documentation.

- This is a full-time, in-person position
- Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based, recovery-oriented approaches
- Complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and formulate accurate clinical impressions
- Develop and maintain clear, measurable, and clinically sound treatment plans within required timeframes
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment in areas such as level of care, relapse risk, and discharge planning
- Document all services in a manner that is timely, thorough, and meets medical necessity and audit standards
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team discussions, presenting cases with clarity and insight
- Support clients in developing coping skills, insight, and accountability in their recovery process
- Maintain appropriate boundaries, uphold program expectations, and address behavioral issues therapeutically
- Collaborate with families, referral sources, and external providers when clinically appropriate
- Engage in ongoing supervision, feedback, and professional development
- Strong clinical writing skills (assessment, treatment planning, progress notes)
- Ability to balance compassion with structure and accountability
- Comfort working with ambivalent, resistant, or high-acuity clients
- Willingness to receive feedback and continue developing clinically
- Reliability, professionalism, and follow-through
- Active NY license: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience working with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders
- CASAC or willingness to pursue strongly preferred
- Experience with managed care documentation and medical necessity is highly valued
- Familiarity with OASAS and/or Joint Commission standards is a plus
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
