Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Brentwood, TN, for a Primary Therapist. The Primary Therapist will be responsible for collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, conducting case reviews, and providing therapeutic interventions for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Responsibilities also include facilitating group and individual therapy sessions, managing client cases, and ensuring the highest standard of care within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning to create and implement client-centered care strategies.
- Knowledge and experience with addiction and mental health counseling to address substance use effectively.
- Understanding of Dual Diagnosis to manage clients with co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.
- Possession of a relevant licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LADAC) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in addiction treatment and trauma-informed care is an advantage.
