Recovery Unplugged Treatment Center is seeking an experienced and passionate part-time Group Facilitator to join our innovative team. Our unique approach to addiction treatment incorporates music to engage clients, break down defenses, and inspire ongoing recovery. We offer an energetic work environment focused on client care and improving outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Part Time
- Groups: Facilitate 4-8 groups per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and facilitate various therapeutic groups.
- Incorporate the Recovery Unplugged Philosophy into existing and new group frameworks.
- Share personal experiences and manage group discussions effectively.
- Complete group notes in KIPU, ensuring they are ready for daily clinical staff review.
- Take attendance, observe client behavior, and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Ensure safe use of musical equipment during sessions.
- Report any client safety and well-being concerns.
- Assist clients in getting to their designated groups on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related human services field.
- LDAC preferred
- Basic understanding of the disease model of addiction.
- Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills.
- Quick thinking with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Recovery knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Client-focused attitude.
- A love for music is essential; being a musician is a plus.
