What You'll Do
- Follow established menus and prepare meals according to proper recipes and dietary requirements
- Clean kitchen equipment and maintain a sanitary work environment throughout the shift
- Monitor and report any equipment repair needs to the Food Service Manager/Director
- Ensure food safety by preventing cross-contamination, maintaining proper temperatures, and adhering to sanitation standards
- Stock and rotate supplies, ensuring all ingredients are available for daily menu requirements
- Complete production records, temperature logs, and account for all food prepared each shift
- Comply with Health Department standards and infection control policies regarding personal hygiene and illness
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience
- One (1) year of cooking experience (required)
Licenses/Certifications
- Must obtain ServSafe Certification within three (3) months of employment (required)
