We are seeking a Dietitian to assess nutritional needs, support individualized dietary care, and help ensure individuals served receive appropriate nutrition. This role partners with medical, nursing, and administrative teams to maintain accurate nutritional records, support menu planning, provide nutritional counseling, and promote safe, high-quality dietary services. What You'll Do
- Assess the nutritional needs of individuals served and prepare individualized diet cards.
- Provide nutritional counseling to individuals served and their families, as appropriate.
- Document dietary assessments, nutritional information, and individual nutritional histories in designated tracking systems.
- Review, approve, and assist with the development of cycle menus to support the nutritional needs of individuals served.
- Partner with administration, medical, and nursing teams to coordinate nutritional care and support individualized treatment needs.
- Provide care that respects cultural differences, individual preferences, and the age-related and developmental needs of individuals served.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and updating dietary policies and procedures, including annual policy reviews.
- Conduct quarterly sanitation audits of food service and serving areas to support cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Participate in committee meetings, exit interviews, and audits, as applicable.
- Assist with dietary staff in-services and provide education related to nutrition, dietary needs, and applicable procedures.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, client requirements, and applicable licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
What We're Looking For
Education
- Associate's degree in food and nutrition (required).
- Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition (preferred)
Experience
- One (1) year of experience in a hospital or similar institutional setting (preferred)
Licenses / Certifications
- Registered Dietitian credential or applicable state licensure (required)
