Compliance and Quality Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about driving excellence in Substance Use Disorder and behavioral services? We are seeking a proactive Compliance and Quality Coordinator to champion our regulatory integrity. In this vital administrative role, you will safeguard our high standards of patient care, lead critical incident management, and ensure seamless alignment with state and national regulatory bodies like OASAS and The Joint Commission.

• Regulatory & Audit Excellence: Guide our team through regional and national surveys, assist with chart audits, and identify documentation deficiencies to ensure continuous survey-readiness.
• Incident Management: Manage incident reporting using Incident Tracker, oversee investigations, and serve as the primary liaison for OASAS and Justice Center inquiries.
• Policy Administration: Manage, revise, and develop Policy and Procedure files, ensuring our clinical and administrative operations strictly conform to regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Lead Compliance/Quality meetings, maintain comprehensive logs and minutes, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Staff Development & Advocacy: Deliver ongoing staff in-services, track training compliance, and monitor patient grievances for client care.

Full-time Exempt position - Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Please note: This is an exclusively on-site position. All applicants must be able to work daily at our Newfane, NY facility.

• Demonstrated experience in healthcare or behavioral health quality assurance and compliance.
• Deep working knowledge of OASAS regulations, Justice Center guidelines, and Joint Commission standards.
• Strong proficiency in incident management tracking and medical record auditing.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, investigations, and annual plans simultaneously.
