Part time Physical Therapist

Recoup Physical Therapy ), a small boutique private practice, is seeking a top caliber Physical Therapist to join our practice. We are a manual based practice, treating patients for one hour. We are conveniently located at 1075 Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale. We are seeking a licensed physical therapist with at least three years experience. We see a variety of orthopedic and sports medicine cases, including rotator cuff injuries, tendonitis, ACL ruptures, total joint replacements, sciatica etc.

You will work independently, but with the mentoring/oversight of a highly experienced physical therapist, who has over 25 years treating patients and teaching at NYMC and USC PT programs. You will gain valuable experience in pre/post-operative rehab care, exercise prescription for injuries and sport-medicine injury rehab. Opportunities for more hours are possible. Growth into building relationships with local orthopedists, coaches, personal trainers are possible, while learning about a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Potential learning opportunities into using medical documentation (EMR), the process of insurance verification/billing and submitting claims may be possible.

Work Hours & Benefits:

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for immediate hire to work 2-3 days a week. The days of the week are flexible

Salary: $55-65 (based on experience)

On the job training includes: Growth into building relationships with fellow community practitioners, learn about the business aspects of private practice, gain valuable experience working alongside PT with 25 years of clinical experience and 10 years of adjunct faculty teaching experience

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be reliable, punctual, professional, take initiative and have an interest in personal growth and patient care

• Licensed physical therapist in NYS
• Strong communication and clinical decision making skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to fluid situations
• Strong manual skills
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
