Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology to track materials accurately.
- Perform order picking with precision to fulfill shipping requests efficiently while maintaining stock integrity.
- Load and unload goods from trucks following OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation; report maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation and preparing items for distribution.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas, conducting manual handling tasks, and ensuring heavy lifting is performed safely.
- Maintain accurate records of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory levels, and safety checks in compliance with warehouse procedures.
- Follow all safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and promote a safe working atmosphere for all team members.
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures along with manual handling techniques for heavy materials.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for inventory counts and order accuracy.
- Prior warehouse experience demonstrating proficiency in materials handling equipment operation is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments combined with excellent attention to detail.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
