Knowledge of hotel history and statistics, and all daily meeting/events and location.
Know all in-house VIP guests, daily specials, and wines by the glass
Follow schedule, side work and station assignments.
Thorough menu knowledge and wine paring

tabletop maintenance
service pace in delivering food from kitchen to guest table to insure food quality and presentation.
Follow manager’s food and beverage orders in placing item in front of correct guest.
Assists captain in any tableside presentation by serving plates assembled by captain.
Pours coffee and water
Respond to guest requests
Participate in shift staff roll call briefing.
Completes assigned side work; Opening/running/closing
Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.
Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
