- Assistant Chief Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily engineering and facilities operations across two properties.
- Conduct weekly property inspections to ensure both properties meet company standards.
- Manage and monitor the preventive maintenance program.
- Support engineering teams with daily operations, troubleshooting, repairs, and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with required inspections, life-safety regulations, and property standards.
- Identify maintenance and operational needs and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to engineering team members.
Required Qualifications:
- NYFD Fire and Life Safety Director (FLSD) certification required.
- 2–5 years of engineering, facilities, or operations management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage operations across multiple properties and prioritize competing needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, and property standards.
