What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Clerk position at Rebel Convenience Stores?
We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Clerk who can keep our payroll running smoothly, accurately, and right on time every pay period. You’ll play a key role in making sure our employees are paid correctly—because happy employees start with accurate paychecks.
What You’ll Do- Review and correct time punches and timesheets
- Process payroll data accurately and on schedule
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain and update employee payroll records
- Partner with managers to clarify schedules and issues
- Process garnishments, deductions, and W-2s
- Keep payroll records organized and compliant
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)
- 2–3 years of payroll experience
- Knowledge of payroll processes and tax laws
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Professional communication and confidentiality
