Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, early learning, and social skills
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration and learning in compliance with safety standards
- Use effective behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and emotional growth
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on children’s progress and needs
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to guide positive social interactions
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
