Job Summary

The Superintendent implements all field activities for self-performed work, subcontractor work, and field logistical items by coordinating and managing Reaume Richardson field staff and project subcontractors from project initiation through completion. This role acts as a leader in the field, responsible and accountable for the quality, safety, and schedule of the construction site. The Superintendent must professionally represent Reaume Richardson field operations as the primary interface with the owner and design team.

• Lead and oversee all daily field operations to ensure adherence to site safety standards, construction quality, schedule progress, and overall site cleanliness.
• Working knowledge of applicable safety and building regulations (i.e., OSHA).
• Develop a thorough understanding of project strategy, contractual commitments, and key objectives, including financial targets, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspection requirements.
• Demonstrate advanced problem-solving capabilities in finding ways to overcome constant obstacles, issues, and conflicts on the job.
• Ensure a high quality of work consistent with project and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to maintain an accurate, up-to-date project schedule that reflects current project conditions and aligns with budgetary and timeline requirements.
• Maintain clear, consistent, and open communication with the project team regarding changes in scope, site conditions, subcontractor coordination, and any shifts in project direction.
• Foster and model positive working relationships by engaging subcontractors and vendors professionally and fairly, while reinforcing this standard across the project team.
  
  

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of seven years of jobsite management experience
• OSHA 30
• CPR/First Aid
• Ability to visualize the entire project and anticipate constructability issues and embed solutions in the construction plans and schedules
• General understanding and experience with construction trades
  
  

Preferences

• Safety Trained Supervisor Certification
• Carpenters Superintendent-in-Training Certification
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam
