We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR
support across the organization, including full-cycle recruitment, payroll, and day-to-day HR support to the team by helping shape an
engaging and inclusive employee experience. You will be a trusted partner to staff and leadership, helping create a positive, organized,
and compliant workplace culture that is supportive, organized, and aligned with our mission.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment to include, but not limited to, posting and maintaining job openings, initial screening and scheduling interviews for top talent with appropriate leadership.
  • Attends job fairs at high school, trade schools, community colleges and universities to attract top talent.
  • Assists with employee benefits, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Back-up to Senior Advisor for processing payroll followed by taking lead on payroll in the future.
  • Processes required documents through the payroll system to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Works with appropriate leadership to schedule interviews of pre-screened candidates.
  • Tracks status of candidates and provide leadership with monthly spreadsheet to include open positions, candidates, and filled positions.
  • Responds to candidates with follow-up emails at the end of the recruitment process.
  • Responsible for sending offer letters and onboarding new employees.
  • Assists with new-employee background and drug testing (*drug testing to include random testing, reasonable suspicion, and return to work for current employees).
  • Responsible for auditing and maintaining employee personnel files (both physical and digital). Appropriately archives inactive employee files.
  • Responsible for filing documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Completes Forms 1-9, verifies I-9 documentation, completes annual audit, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists with processing terminations and off-boarding employees (to include, but not limited to, Exit Interviews) when they leave the organization.
  • Provide a monthly report to appropriate leadership team members regarding trends in Exit Interviews.
  • Provides reminders to appropriate leadership regarding Performance and Merit Reviews for employees.
  • Assist with Employee Relations as directed by supervisor. Contributes to HR projects and initiatives as directed by supervisor.
  • Assists with employee total rewards, employee engagement initiatives, and coordinating HR related training(s) and events.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other administrative functions.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive situations and information.

Work Location & Schedule

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time and 100% in-person at REAP’s HQ located at 10808 NE Halsey Street in Portland. The schedule is Monday
through Friday from 8-4:30pm. This position does not allow for remote work.

Travel
No travel is anticipated unless deemed necessary for trainings, job fairs, recruiting related networking events, or other company needs.

Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in an HR role.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting. Payroll and/or PayCom experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Experience with HR systems and a willingness to adapt to new technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment: This position operates the majority of the time in a typical office environment, spending time at a desk, typing at a computer, talking with people in person and on the phone, taking notes and using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers,
and filing cabinets. The job requires being out in the community for job fairs, which happens inside, outside, walking, talking with
people or in sometimes loud environments.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception an ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This
position is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift files, office
products, and supplies, up to 25 pounds and open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.


Computer-based work environment; computer-intensive tasks and collaborative interactions. Requires a blend of communication skills,
attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
