Our Procurement Contracts team plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and compliance by managing a wide array of contracts and vendor relationships across the organization.


Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our Procurement Contracts team. This role supports the Senior Contracts Manager and is instrumental in overseeing the full contract lifecycle, from initiation through execution, renewal, and closeout. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring contractual obligations are properly documented, tracked, and fulfilled. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain cross-functional exposure across asset management, construction, development, IT, legal, and other corporate services


Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management and Administration:

  • Maintain and manage contract databases and repositories to ensure accurate tracking and accessibility
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, execution, extension, and renewal
  • Coordinate with various departments to streamline contract workflows and approval processes
  • Track key dates such as expirations and renewals; manage amendments and contract closeouts
  • Generate reports, summaries, and correspondence as needed
  • Support the implementation and optimization of the company's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system

Process Improvement

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to existing contract management workflows and tools
  • Assist in the development of contract templates, guidelines, and training materials
  • Work closely with Procurement, Vendor Management, and Risk Management to align contract tracking with insurance reviews and vendor onboarding processes

Research and Analysis:

  • Review contract terms to identify key provisions, obligations, and potential risks
  • Aggregate and analyze data such as labor rates, payment terms, and liability clauses to support standardization across business units.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; An associate’s degree plus a Paralegal Certificate will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years paralegal experience in a real estate company or law firm preferred
  • General/working knowledge of common documents and practices related to the practice areas of real estate asset management and construction
  • The candidate must be a mature, highly motivated, career-oriented individual


Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, and Excel

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
