Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in billing, revenue management, and subscription-based models. The ideal candidate will work closely with CFOs and senior finance stakeholders to drive financial process improvements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead billing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage billing and revenue management processes, including subscription billing
- Work closely with CFOs and finance stakeholders to align business and system requirements
- Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) modules
- Oversee invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606 / AASB 15)
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions
- Drive process improvements and automation within finance functions
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to project teams
- Support testing, implementation, and post-go-live activities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years of overall IT/Functional experience
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance
- Billing & Revenue Management (Subscription Billing)
- Deep understanding of:
- Invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Revenue Recognition standards (ASC 606 / AASB 15)
- Proven experience working with CFOs and senior finance stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to own and lead the billing function end-to-end
- Experience in the US market
