What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Associate - Commercial Real Estate Broker position at RealSite Commercial?
Rooted and raised in the booming market of Middle Tennessee, RealSite doesn't just know opportunities — we see what others miss. Our on-the-ground approach, motivated team, and 40 years of experience give us the insight needed to drive client success.
RealSite Commercial is an independent agency specializing in industrial, office, and retail properties across Middle Tennessee. RealSite brokers have navigated complex transactions for over four decades, closing nearly half a billion dollars in deals in the past two years alone — including standout projects like The Factory at Franklin and Airport Logistics Park. Our partner model means our brokers are dedicated to client outcomes, not just closed deals, building relationships on trust and transparency.
The OpportunityRealSite is looking for a Senior Associate to help expand our presence across the Nashville commercial real estate market. This role is built for someone who's past the trainee stage: you likely already hold an active Tennessee real estate license and have a couple of years of brokerage or transactional experience under your belt. You're ready to run point on deals, build your own client relationships, and grow a book of business — while working directly alongside RealSite brokers and drawing on RealSite's 40 years of local market relationships.
This isn't a back-office support role. You'll be expected to take ownership of transactions from prospecting through close, with the mentorship and deal flow of an established firm behind you.

- Prospect for new business through market research, networking, and referrals
- Begin developing your own client base while contributing to firm-wide accounts

- Prepare and manage listing agreements, offers, letters of intent, and closing documentation
- Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, and other transaction parties to keep deals moving
Market Analysis & Positioning
- Conduct market analysis, comps, and property valuations to guide pricing and strategy
- Track Middle Tennessee market trends, competitor activity, and economic conditions that affect client decisions
- Build listing packages and marketing materials using tools like CoStar, LoopNet, and CREXi
Collaboration
- Work directly with RealSite brokers to strategize client accounts and pursue new opportunities
- Contribute to team meetings, business planning, and firm growth initiatives
- Support and mentor newer associates as the team grows
- Active Tennessee real estate license (Affiliate Broker), in good standing — required
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, sales, or a directly related transactional role
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading lease and/or sale transactions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with CoStar, LoopNet, CREXi, or comparable CRE research and marketing platforms

- Excellent written and verbal communication; a track record of building trust with owners, tenants, and investors
- Self-starter mentality — someone who wants to build an independent pipeline within a partner-based culture
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property tours and market coverage
- Direct mentorship from principals with 40 years of Middle Tennessee market experience
- Access to an established referral network and nearly $500M in transaction history over the past two years
- A partner-model culture, not a big-firm hierarchy — your name is on your deals
- Involvement in landmark projects across industrial, office, and retail
