RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established total building solutions provider with multiple locations across the United States to assist in hiring an experienced Senior MEP Detailer.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise 3D models of MEP systems in support of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret architectural & engineering drawings, specs & other documentation
- Have an understanding of how steel is involved in all aspects of construction
- Create 3D models with Advance Steel
- Produce fabrication packages for structural & miscellaneous steel projects
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of drawings
- Ensure compliance with all codes (IFC, UFC, CBC, etc.)
- Complete 3d model checks
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to run multiple projects at any given time
- Associates Degree in Drafting (preferred)
- 5 years detail/design experience
- Knowledge of MEP detailing
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk, Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, BIM 360
- Stratus & Revizto experience (preferred)
- Experience with database building & management for fabrication in CADmep (preferred)
- Knowledge of building codes/utility specs including IBC, UFC, CBC, MSS, SMACNA, NEMA, NFPA
- Strong background in industrial facilities & fabrication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership experience preferred!
- Union experience preferred
- $45-65 / hour (range based on experience)
