- Concurrently running 3-4 regional jobsites valued at $5M-$25M
- Collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract specs.
- Monitoring work progress and compliance from all selected subcontractors.
- Proactively identifying and escalating issues that could impact the established project budget and timeline.
- Holding meetings onsite with key stakeholders and personnel to provide progress reports.
- Delegating tasks effectively and holding others accountable to achieve project milestones.
- Keeping schedules updated ensuring proper allocation of labor and equipment resources.
- Helping to enforce the site safety and QC plans.
- Helping to mentor and develop confidence in field personnel.
- Assisting in the development of a strategic growth plan for the division.
- 5 years of field leadership experience on DOT construction projects of similar size and scope
- Prior experience representing paving contractor on public and private sector paving projects
- Successful track record of completing highway paving projects exceeding $10M
- Prior experience updating project schedules and creating look aheads
- Knowledge of how to operate relevant equipment (for purposes of training crew members)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective people management skills including the ability to delegate
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines to ensure that project milestones are achieved
- Salary 130-155k (based on experience and certifications)
