Software Project Manager

Onsite with 10% travel to other Midwest location
Compensation: $135k - $175k Equity
Join an innovative medical device OEM in the Twin Cities that is looking for a Software Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of full-lifecycle software projects for cloud-hosted and connected applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of software projects, including feasibility, prototyping, development, documentation, verification and validation.
- Facilitate collaboration to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and maintain effective communication.
- Track project progress, oversee software configuration management, ensure timely documentation deliverables, and escalate risks or impediments as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and comprehensive status reports on software projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or technical related field
- 5 years in medical device or other regulated software development experience
- 3 years managing full software development lifecycle projects, including cloud-hosted or connected applications using Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps & CI/CD principles for cloud-based application deployment
- Experience with medical software standards, IEC 62304, HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable regulations
- Exposure to manufacturing transfer, service deployment, and post-market surveillance is a plus
