What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer position at Real?
I'm working with a rapidly growing medical device company developing groundbreaking therapeutic technology and they're looking to add a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to their team.
This is a highly visible role supporting a global supplier network and partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality leadership. The individual will play a key role in ensuring supplier performance, driving quality improvements, and supporting the scale-up of a cutting-edge medical device platform.
What you'll be doing: * Lead supplier audits, qualifications, and performance management activities
* Drive supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and root cause investigations
* Evaluate supplier changes and ensure compliance with quality requirements
* Partner with suppliers to improve quality, reliability, and manufacturing processes
* Support risk management and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base
* Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex quality issues
Ideal Background: * 5 years of Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering experience
* Medical device, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience
* Strong knowledge of supplier audits, CAPA, root cause analysis, and supplier development
* Experience working within FDA and ISO 13485 environments
* Lead Auditor experience is a plus
Compensation: $110K-$140K base bonus equity
