What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Radiochemist - CMC position at Real?
We have a current opportunity for a Senior Manager, Radiochemist - CMC on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Needham. The roles responsibilities and duties include:
- Oversee daily batch production across the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) network.
- Quickly resolve synthesis or logistics challenges to minimize operational disruptions.
- Communicate any supply interruptions promptly to field stakeholders.
- Monitor and address quality issues that could impact site performance.
- Assess product demand versus site capacity and adjust production plans as needed.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for each CMO.
- Support development projects with third-party manufacturers and coordinate site-level implementation.
- Act as the primary liaison between Blue Earth Diagnostics and CMO technical teams, providing technical support during site setup and post-approval phases.
- Lead and manage technology transfer activities from development to commercial manufacturing at CMO sites.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation, knowledge sharing, and training throughout the transfer process.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to integrate new products or processes seamlessly.
- Monitor post-transfer performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain process consistency and compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of transfer protocols, validation activities, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Supply Chain Manager to oversee material supply and resupply to production sites and depots.
- Forecast consumable usage and recommend resupply strategies.
- Work with CMOs on deviations, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Lead regular meetings with CMOs and internal teams, ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Analytics to evaluate supply and demand changes.
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of internal and CMO quality systems.
- Participate in quality and due diligence audits of CMOs and external suppliers as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
