What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Electrical Engineer - Class III Med Tech position at Real?
Please see the below requirements for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing class III medical device organization in the Northeast Twin Cities Metro. This role will play a critical part in supporting an implantable electromechanical system in a late-stage development/validation phase, with a focus on verification & validation, standards-based testing, documentation, and targeted PCB/circuit updates within a regulated environment. This is an onsite role with a preference for strong in-person collaboration, offering a target base salary around ~$150K (flexibility for top candidates) along with equity participation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
- 5 years of electrical engineering experience
- Strong experience in PCB/circuit design (analog & digital)
- Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA/ISO) medical device experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable with documentation-heavy engineering work (V&V, validation, compliance deliverables)
Ideal Candidate Brings:
- Experience with LabVIEW development for test software
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Experience with microcontroller design/embedded systems
