Position Overview
Explore Montana Rentals is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Property Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations across our vacation rental portfolio.
This role is field-based and execution-heavy. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are clean, stocked, functional, and guest-ready at all times. The right candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently.
Core Responsibilities
Property Operations
- Haul trash to designated green box locations
- Transport linens to and from laundry service
- Complete laundromat runs when overflow is required
- Refill propane tanks as needed
- Perform vacancy checks on unoccupied properties
Inventory & Supply Management
- Deliver supplies to vacation rentals
- Track and maintain supply inventory across all units
- Identify low stock and communicate restock needs
Quality Control
- Conduct inspections after cleaners to ensure standards are met
- Complete light touch-up cleaning when necessary
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or inconsistencies
Vendor Coordination
- Meet vendors onsite (cleaners, maintenance, deliveries, etc.)
- Provide property access and ensure scope of work is completed
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with seasonal setup and breakdown (outdoor furniture, grills, etc.)
- Support emergency or urgent operational needs as they arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas
- Follow company checklists and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive
- Basic familiarity with smartphones and apps for task tracking
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous experience in property management, housekeeping, or hospitality
- Familiarity with the Flathead Valley area
- Basic maintenance or handyman skills
Schedule Expectations
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Hours may vary based on occupancy and seasonality
- On-call availability is a plus

- Properties consistently guest-ready without issues
- Supplies stocked and organized
- Minimal rework after inspections
- Clear, proactive communication with the team
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
