Real Life Preschool is looking for a reliable, energetic, and caring Support Staff/Teacher Aide to join our team during the morning hours.
This position is perfect for someone who loves children, works well as part of a team, and enjoys helping classrooms run smoothly. Our support staff play an important role in creating a safe, positive, and fun environment for our learners and teachers.
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–12:30 PM
Additional hours may be available based on school needs and candidate availability.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers throughout the morning
- Assist with supervision and care of children
- Help with classroom activities, centers, crafts, and play
- Assist with transitions, snack, cleanup, and daily routines
- Step into different classrooms as needed to provide additional support
- Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classrooms
- Provide positive encouragement and redirection to children
- Assist teachers with the needs of individual children
- Help ensure children are supervised and safe at all times
- Communicate positively and professionally with teachers, staff, and families
- Assist with other preschool needs as they arise
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Energetic and able to stay active throughout the morning
- Patient, positive, and compassionate
- Works well with a team and is willing to jump in wherever needed
- Comfortable working with children from infants through preschool age
- Must be able to pass required background checks
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
