The U.S. team serves donors, churches, and partners so that in-country leaders can maximize ministry impact.
Position Summary
The Executive Director leads and manages the U.S. operations of MICP. This role provides strategic leadership, financial oversight, fundraising, and partner relations—aligning U.S. efforts with the work of ministry leaders in India. The Executive Director is a trusted ambassador for MICP, stewarding resources wisely and advancing measurable outcomes that support church planting and leadership development across India.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Organizational Leadership
- Lead all U.S.-based operations for MICP under Real Life’s 501(c)(3), setting annual goals, plans, and KPIs.
- Partner with Real Life Church leadership to ensure alignment with the global missions strategy.
- Manage staff and/or volunteers supporting operations, communications, and donor care.
Financial Stewardship & Compliance
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Partner with Real Life’s Finance team on fund transfers, donor receipting, audits, and best practices in nonprofit stewardship.
Fundraising & Donor Development
- Develop and execute an annual fundraising and donor development plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supporting churches, donors, and partners to inspire generosity and long-term engagement.
- Represent MICP at churches and events; travel 10–15% to host vision gatherings and share ministry updates.
Communications & Reporting
- Communicate ministry impact through reports, newsletters, presentations, and speaking engagements.
- Collect and share stories, photos, and outcomes from India to engage and retain U.S. partners.
Global Partnership & Accountability
- Collaborate with MICP leadership in India to align goals, monitor progress, and ensure accountability and measurable outcomes.
- Steward resources to maximize impact and sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (ministry, business, nonprofit management, or related field preferred).
- 5 years of nonprofit, ministry, or missions leadership experience.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and organizational management experience.
- Proven success in fundraising, donor relations, and partnership development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident public speaker and presenter.
- High emotional intelligence with cross-cultural sensitivity and collaboration skills.
- Active, mature Christian faith aligned with Real Life’s mission and values; comfortable representing a Christ-centered ministry.
