Position Summary
These part-time roles will be filling in on an as-needed basis at our preschool at our Mount Dora Campus. Some of the responsibilities of the role include:
- Nurturing and guiding children to promote their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth
- Ensure the health and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Establish and maintain a respectful relationship with parents, families and co-workers
- Follow and adhere to curriculum; learn to plan and implement age appropriate lessons and activities
- Follow guidance of Lead Teacher
- Maintain compliance with CSF, DCF and Real Life policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- HS diploma or GED required
- Interest in furthering education; CDA, FCCPC or degree in field
- Have or obtain DCF state mandated training within first 90 days of employment
- Have or obtain First Aid/CPR certification, Blood-borne Pathogens and Fire Extinguisher training
- Required annual in-service training/CEU’s and training as required for professional growth Work Experience
- Minimum 1yr. experience as a teacher assistant or substitute in an early learning environment
- Evolving knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood Education
- Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Is (or is willing to be) immersed believer and Member of Real Life Church who adheres to the Real Life Membership Covenant
