What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Real Estate Executive Search, Inc.?
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a 500 unit, B class, market-rate, owner-managed, garden-style apartment community located in the St. Petersburg area. This position will supervise a staff of 6: 4 Maintenance Technicians and 2 Groundskeepers. The position is required to take call one out of every 5 weeks (split with 4 techs).
To be qualified, you must have these things:
- At least 10 years of apartment maintenance experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor for apartments
- Large property experience (ideally at least 400 units or more)
- STRONG organizational skills
- HVAC Certification Type II or Universal
Qualified candidates must have good communication skills, strong ability to organize and plan for work orders, apartment turns and vendor management.
This is an hourly position which will pay a base salary between $80K and $85K (possibly a bit more for the right individual). The position also offers up to $14,000/year in bonus (which is paid monthly). The position does qualify for overtime.
